Consecutive packed houses greeted children from the MPB Player’s production of the sixties play, Everything’s Groovy held Thursday and Friday night on the stage in gymnasium of the Hazleton One Community Center. Twenty six children in grades 2 through 8 from several schools in the area filled every role in the play.
“We have a wonderful mix of children from all area of the region, all ages and all ethnic backgrounds,” said Judiann McGrogan, the show’s producer. “We all had a great time putting the play together. It has truly been a joy to watch the children learn about theater and make new friends at the same time.”
Eugenio Sosa, Executive Director of the Hazleton One Community Center, said, “We are particularly happy to be working with the MPB Players again in the building where they started, and we hope to have many more collaborations with them in the upcoming years.”
